Golden Day, 29th February 2008 marked the “second” leap anniversary of SACAR. A small celebration was held at SACAR premises to mark this occasion.  The event also marked the inauguration of the newly constructed Scholars’ Home at SACAR. More than 50 people came for the programme, and Tara-Di from Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Ashram did the honour of lighting the ceremonial lamp. She also recited one of the poems of Sri Aurobindo (“Surrender”) which was followed by a short meditation with Mother’s New Year music. Later the attendees had a rare opportunity to hear from Tara-Di and Lata-Di about their experiewnces of growing up with the Mother. The beautiful reminiscences about Mother’s Love, Grace and Generosity filled the atmosphere with a powerful Presence.
